Your notes inside Claude and ChatGPT

For people who already work in an AI app and want it to know what they know.

Connect Rill to Claude or ChatGPT with one address. The app can search your notes, open one and read your saved pages and highlights, within what you allow. Vault notes are never shared, and every read is listed for you.

How it works

Step by step

  1. In Rill, open Settings, Advanced, AI apps, and copy Rill’s address.

  2. In Claude or ChatGPT, add a custom connector and paste the address.

  3. Sign in to Rill when asked and choose what the app may read, and whether it may add a note.

  4. Ask the app about your own notes. Each read shows up in Rill’s log; disconnect at any time.

What it uses

The Rill features behind it

  • Works withRill plan

Claude and ChatGPT: paste one address, sign in to Rill and choose what the app may read. Or add the rill-mcp server to Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor. Vault notes are never shared, and every read is logged.

  • What touched this? A log of every AI step on each capture, and a Trust and privacy page of what Rill holds and who has read it.

  • The Vault: notes encrypted on your device with your passphrase before they leave it. Rill’s servers store only the sealed copy.

  • Highlight in six colours with a note. Every highlight is on one page with a Markdown export, and a few come back each day in Daily review.

Features are on the web today. Plans are Rill Essentials and Rill; a line marked Rill plan is part of Rill, not Rill Essentials.
