For couples, families, caregivers
One calm memory.
Shared exactly how you want.
Capture your own thoughts. Share a single moment with your partner, family, or care team — never the whole pile. A shared Drift surface brings back what the family captured together when it matters.
◐
Couples planning together
Trip ideas, restaurant lists, things you've been meaning to talk about. Capture privately; share to your couple circle the moment you decide it's both of yours.
◑
Parents capturing kids' moments
Funny things they said, school updates, doctor's notes. A shared family circle keeps the small moments findable years later. No social feed required.
◒
Caregivers coordinating
Aging parent's medication updates, appointment notes, what the day was like. Siblings sharing the load each see the same lane, without group texts.
How a family circle works
- 1
Create a circle
In Settings → Circles, pick a name — “Family”, “Mom & Dad”, “Caring for Grandma”. Invite members by email.
- 2
Capture privately by default
Every capture lands in your own private corpus. Nothing is shared automatically — Rill never assumes you wanted to.
- 3
Share a capture when you choose
Tap “Share to family” on a specific capture. That one moment enters the shared lane. Everything else stays yours.
- 4
Drift brings the family back
The shared Drift surface lifts up one capture worth re-seeing from the lane — a moment from your daughter’s kindergarten year, the question your partner asked last summer.
What we won’t do
Family sharing is the easy thing to overbuild. Here’s where we stop on purpose:
- No auto-sharing. Rill never decides what should be shared. You do, one capture at a time.
- No public feed. A circle is a closed lane between people you invite. Nothing surfaces to the outside.
- No surveillance.Rill doesn’t track location, listen ambiently, or scan messages. Captures only exist when you press the button.
- No child profiles.Kids aren’t users; parents capture for them. When they grow up, you can hand them their share of the corpus.
Built into every Rill plan
Circles are included on every paid tier — no separate “family” plan to evaluate. Start with one circle on Starter, scale to multiple on Pro.
