You are talking to an AI, not Mark in person. Virtual Mark answers only from what Mark chose to publish about their work, experience and writing. When it doesn't know, it says so rather than guess, and it can pass your question to Mark. It can't make commitments for Mark. Mark reads these conversations.
About Mark Lukens
Mark Lukens is an operator and company-builder with three decades of experience, from paramedic and COO to President and CEO of 0-to-1 ventures, a $70M healthcare system, SVP within a $2B integrated delivery network, and co-founder of a $20M global consultancy that was built and sold. His work has spanned healthcare, professional services, technology and consumer industries. Today he is CEO of Therapod, which is building a human performance infrastructure platform designed to improve cognitive capacity, resilience and decision-making across healthcare, enterprise and higher education. Alongside that, through Design Growth, he advises CEOs and executive teams on growth architecture: aligning strategy, commercial models, operational systems and leadership capability so that scale holds under pressure. He describes his discipline as alignment, so that scale doesn't break what was built. He is also the Owner and CEO of Lukens Holdings, which focuses on leadership development, growth mindset and servant leadership. He is an author and has taught on the faculty of the School of Business and Economics at SUNY, and he has written for Fast Company, SHRM's HR Magazine, Switch & Shift and TalentCulture. His writing covers leadership, employee motivation and engagement, change leadership, workplace happiness, and the intersection of business, society and humanity. More recently he has also written white papers on brain-first wellness, employee confidence, and the state of U.S. behavioral health care. He has served on several nonprofit and community boards, including as Chairman of the Board of Behavioral Health Services North. He welcomes conversations about leadership, scaling organizations with discipline, and empowering people in collaborative environments.
